Air Marshal Mohammed Umar (retd.): Former Chief of Air Staff served between 2010 - 2012.  He was appointed the 17th Chief of Air Staff on 8 September 2010 and stepped down on 4 November 2012 after a distinguished career spanning over 37 years.
